FOX Flatliner X Bedchair

Product Highlights

The Fox bedchair Flatliner X is designed for anglers looking for a reliable, comfortable and easy-to-use fishing bedchair by the water. Whether you are heading out for one night or a longer session, a good bedchair makes all the difference: better recovery, less fatigue and greater alertness when the bites start. This model focuses on the essentials: providing a stable, comfortable sleeping surface that is easy to adjust, without unnecessary complexity.

Sold as a bedchair only, it lets you choose your own duvet or sleeping bag, depending on the season and the way you fish. It is a smart option if you already own your sleeping gear or want to build a custom setup.

Benefits and Key Advantages

A high-performance bedchair must meet three priorities: bivvy comfort, stability and ease of use. The Flatliner X follows this logic by offering a sleeping base designed to stay properly in place, even when the swim is not perfectly flat. The adjustable legs help level the bedchair and reduce the feeling of sliding or sleeping under tension.

Comfort also depends on weight distribution and support. A properly padded sleeping surface helps protect your back and shoulders, which is essential when you spend several nights on the bank. The result: better recovery, improved focus and more enjoyment throughout your session.

From a practical point of view, a fishing camp bed should be quick to deploy and pack away. When you arrive late, when it is raining or when you need to reset your camp, simplicity saves both time and energy. By choosing a bedchair sold on its own, you also keep the freedom to adapt your sleep system to the temperature: a lightweight duvet for summer, a warmer model for spring or autumn, without being tied to a fixed bundle.

Usage Tips

Before setting up, choose the flattest area possible and remove any stones or branches that could damage the fabric. Unfold the bedchair, then adjust the legs gradually, checking stability at each step. On very soft ground, make sure the feet are fully in contact with the surface and lightly compact the area so the legs do not sink during the night.

To maximise comfort, pair the bedchair with a sleeping bag suited to the season and consider adding ground insulation under the bedchair when the bank is very wet. After your session, allow the bedchair to dry if needed, then clean it with a soft sponge. Proper drying and storage will help extend the life of the fabrics and mechanisms.
