Jigging Hook BKK Assist Slow Fall SF Reefmaster HG

Product Highlights

Designed for demanding anglers, the BKK SF Reefmaster HG is a jigging assist hook built for fast jigging and hard-fighting saltwater species. Its purpose is clear: deliver highly efficient penetration, even on tough jaws, while maintaining reliable hook-up performance when bites come in rapid succession. The whole design is based on a robust, cohesive architecture: high-performance carbon steel, an optimized point for secure hook sets, a discreet micro-ring for smooth rigging, and anti-corrosion protection suited to saltwater conditions.

The rig comes ready to fish with a natural-hair dressing and bright tying thread. This combination enhances the jig’s presence in the water and helps trigger strikes when activity drops. At dawn, dusk, or in low visibility, the luminous thread adds an extra signal without compromising presentation. The braided assist cord is both supple and highly durable, following the lure’s movement while reducing unnecessary stress during hook sets and powerful runs.

Benefits and Key Selling Points

The core strength of the SF Reefmaster HG is its ability to turn a bite into a landed fish. The Hand Ground point reduces penetration resistance and improves hook-setting efficiency, even when fishing light or when the fish strikes aggressively on a reaction bite. This performance reserve is especially noticeable on powerful species: the hook penetrates quickly, holds firmly, and maintains a sense of control during sudden direction changes.

The micro-ring creates a clean connection with the jig’s split ring: its slimmer profile makes rigging simpler and neater, helping save time while maintaining a tidy presentation. The tin coating provides a barrier suited to salt and humidity, making it ideal for regular use in marine environments while preserving point efficiency and smooth penetration.

Finally, the natural hair dressing and luminous thread play a real role in the water: they add volume, life, and a discreet visual signal, which is useful when fish follow but hesitate to strike. This approach increases the jig’s appeal without forcing an unnatural action: the material works naturally with the cadence of the drop, jerks, and pauses.

How to Use

To get the most out of this assist hook for jigging, pair it with a jig and split ring suited to your fishing style. Check the orientation: the assist should follow the lure’s movement without restricting its action. In fast jigging, use rhythmic sequences and short pauses; the dressing often helps trigger strikes on the lift or after the pause. When fish are cautious, alternate speed bursts and slack line: the cord’s flexibility allows the hook to position itself naturally for the right hook-up moment.

After fishing, rinse with fresh water, dry thoroughly, and visually inspect the coating and point. Storing it away from moisture extends its service life, especially if you fish saltwater regularly.
