The natural material guarantees strong robustness, improved flotation and the ability to remain attractive season after season. The suppleness of the bucktail allows the creation of lively animations, perfectly simulating the movement of prey. With its universal adaptation to multiple tying techniques, quick handling and fiber uniformity, it enhances both the creativity and effectiveness of the angler. The Bucktail Devaux is also used for crafting imitations for both saltwater and freshwater fishing, making this accessory indispensable for dedicated fly tiers.

4. Usage tips and recommended patterns
For optimal results with the Bucktail, select the appropriate part of the tail according to the intended use: long, supple fibers for streamer tails, shorter ones for bulky heads or wings. Pairing with weighted or unweighted heads, wide-gap hooks or tubes makes it possible to create a wide variety of predator and saltwater flies. It is recommended to lightly degrease the fiber before tying to optimize its mobility underwater. For patterns like the "Clouser Minnow", "Deceiver" or for making floating poppers, the Bucktail offers an unmatched natural volume. Use a strong tying thread to secure the fiber to the hook and vary the length to produce different swimming effects depending on the target species.
