Product benefits and highlights :
The Devaux Chenille Cris excels at enhancing the attractiveness of flies thanks to its UV fibers, which emit strong visual signals that trigger strikes. Its 15 mm diameter ensures a voluminous profile, perfect for imitating various aquatic insect shapes. Very easy to handle, it offers excellent retention during wraps and naturally gains volume without weighing down the fly. Its resistance to repeated handling extends the lifespan of your creations. Its composition also allows use in both freshwater and saltwater while preserving the quality of the UV fibers.

Usage tips and recommended tying :
For optimal results, mount the chenille on hooks suited to the desired fly size. It pairs particularly well with medium to light weighted heads to ensure agility and a natural swim. Use spiral wrapping techniques to create an even, voluminous body. Combine it with natural materials (feathers, dubbings) to reinforce realism. For streamers or blobs, the Chenille Cris allows you to vary visual effects depending on the chosen shade. Its suppleness also facilitates the creation of natural micro-movements underwater.
