Its subtle translucency and unique texture deliver unmatched realism to your flies. The band’s elasticity also provides excellent handling, enabling controlled wrapping and the creation of varied volumes, from slender to robust. Durable, it resists bites and abrasion without yielding or tearing, ensuring the longevity of your patterns even after many intense fishing sessions.

Usage tips and recommended patterns :
To maximize the potential of the BODYLAST 2MM band, use it on a fine to medium hook depending on the desired fly size. Secure the band at the hook bend, then wrap it with light tension to shape the desired profile. Its elasticity makes it easy to adjust body thickness. Paired with natural or synthetic dubbing and a well-formed thorax, it refines the finish of your chironomids, nymphs and emergers. Using discreet weighted heads or straight-shank hooks is ideal to enhance the band’s versatility and expand effective presentations for sight fishing or dead-drift techniques.
