Benefits and highlights of the BTP Reel

The Devaux BTP Reel is distinguished by its exceptional robustness — a key quality when facing powerful predators. Its machined construction provides a solid, long-lasting grip, while the anti-corrosion treatment ensures resistance in saline environments, which are often highly corrosive.

The progressive micrometric drag, both sealed and remarkably powerful, allows precise control during every fight, even against large opponents. User comfort is enhanced by its ergonomic design, engineered to reduce fatigue over long sessions. Additionally, the reversible layout makes this reel practical and accessible to both right- and left-handed anglers.

Usage tips and recommended setups

To get the best performance from the Devaux BTP Reel, we recommend pairing it with a sturdy rod suitable for predator fishing in both freshwater and saltwater. Use a line appropriate for the size of the targeted fish and favor high-quality weighted heads to maximize sensitivity when feeling strikes.

For sea anglers, the anti-corrosion treatment allows use in the harshest saltwater conditions, provided you rinse your gear with fresh water after each session. In rivers, it excels in fights against the most combative species thanks to its progressive drag and solid construction.
