Benefits and product highlights:
The use of Devaux CDC SELECT feathers stands out for several key advantages. Their rigorous selection guarantees uniform size and texture, facilitating the creation of realistic and highly attractive flies for trout, grayling, and other target species during fly fishing sessions. The natural buoyancy of CDC fibers helps keep your patterns afloat longer, optimizing presentation even in demanding waters. Their ability to reproduce subtle sheen and wing volume revives fish’s predatory instincts in all conditions.

Usage tips and recommended patterns:
Devaux CDC SELECT feathers are ideal for forming wings, tails or bodies of dry flies and emergers. Use a fine, strong head and a thread sized appropriately to the material’s delicacy. To maximize floatation, avoid applying greases or hydrophobic products to CDC; instead, gently dust the fly after each catch. Imitations of sedge, mayfly or caddis can be easily made thanks to the volume and flexibility of these fibers. Mixing different feather lengths can help fine-tune the realism of your patterns.
