To get the most from Devaux DXD D166BL hooks, use them for tying fine dry flies, small insect imitations, or aquatic spiders. Prefer thin tippets and discreet leaders to avoid overloading your pattern. These hooks are perfect for anglers practicing delicate presentations, both in rivers and in still waters. Hand-tying techniques or a rotary vise are both well suited to achieve a professional finish on each fly.
