Usage tips:
To exploit the full potential of the Devaux EMERGENT FLIES ATE09O, favor a fine, supple leader to ensure a natural, stealthy drift. Rig the fly on tippets of 0.12–0.16 mm (12–16/100) and use a rod with progressive action suited to the watercourse. Prioritize casts along margins, in moderate water veins and near vegetation where emerging insects concentrate. This fly excels in sight-fishing and surface-active fish situations to maximize strike chances while minimizing refusals. A light touch of floatant on the thorax can enhance buoyancy if needed.
