Benefits and key strengths :
With the EMERGENT FLY HL07, Devaux offers a pattern that stands out for its ability to fool even the wariest trout. Its carefully studied silhouette reproduces the transforming larval stage, a highly targeted feeding phase. The composition keeps the fly stable on the water surface while retaining the discreet profile essential in calm or clear waters. Material selection, based on Devaux’s recognized know-how, ensures the tying’s resistance and that the fly keeps its properties through many casts. Ideal for anglers seeking to maximize hookups during emergence periods, it optimizes each drift and appeals to both wild trout and selective fish.

Usage tips and recommended setups :
To fully exploit the HL07’s potential, favor a natural presentation close to the surface with a fine, quality leader. The fly works particularly well with subtle tippets (fluorocarbon recommended) to maximize stealth. It can be tied on barbless hooks to ease fish release. Applying floatant to the wing prolongs buoyancy and improves visibility in low light. This imitation performs excellently for both sight fishing and conventional drift, and is recommended during mass hatches in the morning or evening.
