Benefits and strengths of the Devaux HL22 Emergent Flies:
The Devaux HL22 emergent flies deliver unmatched realism that proves decisive during mass hatches. The studied profile accurately imitates the natural positioning of insects on the water surface, fooling the most selective trout. Their meticulous construction guarantees outstanding durability, even after multiple catches. Thanks to high-quality materials, buoyancy remains smooth and natural, reducing sagging in strong currents. The Devaux HL22 also offer excellent visibility, even in low light, thanks to a smart tying that optimizes contrast. Decidedly innovative, they have become essential for competitors and anglers aiming to improve their catch rate.

Usage tips and recommended setups:
To exploit the full potential of the HL22 emergent flies, favor a light floating line. A fine, tapered leader of 9 to 12 feet will highlight the natural drift. Presenting upstream or close to obstacles increases takes by wary fish. Use a specific floatant to maximize buoyancy. In rigging, the HL22 excels as a top fly during emergence phases, paired with light nymphs or small dry flies to vary feeding stimuli. It is highly effective for trout rivers but also attracts coarse fish and grayling in slow waters. To maximize success, adapt fly size to local entomofauna and favor subtle presentation.

FAQ and additional information:
