Key features and benefits of Devaux Nanofil 18/0 :
Nanofil 18/0 benefits from advanced braiding technology and strict material selection. This gives it increased resistance to sudden pulls and abrasion during tying. Thanks to its supple, satin texture, this thread allows tiers to make precise, clean knots without bulky buildups, ensuring streamlined, natural fly finishes. The absence of bulk guarantees perfect immersion of ties and prevents excess material that could alert fish. Finally, its excellent compatibility with all hook types and tying materials (feathers, hairs, synthetic fibers) makes it a top choice for complex ties, from small nymphs to elegant dry flies.

Usage tips and recommended ties :
Experts recommend using Devaux Nanofil 18/0 for fine ties on all sizes of fly hooks, particularly for emergers, nymphs and slim-bodied dries. Its strength allows firm tension when tightening knots or securing materials while retaining unmatched flexibility. For optimal results, favor thin heads and adjust thread pressure to shape materials without cutting them. Experienced users often choose this thread for delicate imitations, ensuring tie longevity and effectiveness on the water surface.
