Benefits and product highlights
Devaux POLYFLOSS THREAD stands out for the robustness of its synthetic structure, making it ideal for both delicate fly bodies and tougher patterns. Its foam texture prevents unwanted slipping on the hook, allowing precise and even wraps. This thread’s versatility supports the creation of nymphs, dry flies, and streamers alike. An industry major innovation, its generous length enables multiple ties without interruption. The fiber flexibility guarantees excellent handling and easy shaping while minimizing breakage risk.

Usage tips and recommended ties
When tying, use a quality bobbin for smooth thread delivery. For fine hooks or attractive tags, always tension the thread slightly before building the base: this improves adhesion and results in a more even finish. Its foam-like material is ideal for building voluminous underbodies or reinforcing specific segments. Compatible with any standard tying bench and easily combined with other materials such as dubbing, tinsel, or floss. For realistic builds, apply the thread in thin successive layers and vary tension according to the desired effect.
