Advantages and key strengths

With a consistent texture and reliable adhesive, PRO-QUILLS HOLO enable fast tying that reduces build time while improving repeatability. The holographic sheen creates multi-angle reflections attractive in both clear and stained water, improving detection by active or wary fish. The tapered edge ensures harmonious overlap for realistic segmentation without bulk, resulting in slim, dense and robust bodies ideal for technical fishing. The synthetic material avoids the fragility of natural quills and accepts varnish or UV resin without whitening, ensuring exceptional durability.

Usage tips

Prepare a smooth base of tying thread, then position the quill using its adhesive for a clean start. Wrap in touching turns toward the front to create pronounced segmentation and finish with a thin coat of varnish or UV resin to seal and enhance the holographic effect. For nymphs and perdigones, favor a tapered, smooth body before wrapping, then a glossy finish to maximize penetration and longevity. For dry flies and emergers, limit bulk to preserve optimal buoyancy while maintaining visual appeal. Quills can be trimmed to the desired length to precisely match hook size and the intended profile.
