3. Benefits and product strengths
Thanks to their innovative design and the use of Carlite material, Devaux Trichoptera Sedge flies stand out for superior longevity — they stay buoyant on the water even after multiple casts. With undeniable realism, they perfectly mimic the profile and natural behavior of trichoptera, triggering instinctive strikes from the wariest fish. Innovation and efficiency: careful material selection and artisanal tying provide a valuable advantage, both during evening hatches and in challenging conditions.

4. Usage tips and recommended rigs
To maximize the performance of these flies, we recommend rigging them on a fine leader with a subtle tippet. Ideal when combined with a light weighted head to promote a natural drift, they are perfectly suited to both downstream and upstream presentations. A delicate surface landing, or the “dead drift”, fully leverages their buoyancy and encourages surface takes. Alternate between gentle animating and static poses depending on fish activity to get the best results.
