Benefits and product highlights :
The Devaux Squirrel Dubbing appeals with its natural look and hydrophobic properties: it enables the creation of highly faithful ties that perfectly mimic the living appearance of aquatic insects. Its fineness allows even distribution on the tying thread while providing volume and movement. The fibers, both supple and resilient, are easy to work with and allow customization of each fly according to technique and conditions.

This dubbing also stands out for its robustness under the repeated stresses of sport fishing. It retains its color, texture and effectiveness even after multiple catches.

Usage tips and recommended patterns :
For optimal effect, take a small amount of Devaux Squirrel Dubbing and distribute it evenly on your waxed tying thread. Ideal for crafting bodies and thoraxes of dry flies, emergers or nymphs, it pairs perfectly with discreet weighted heads or fine ties. Its versatility also allows the creation of streamers and wet flies aimed at predators or coarse fish.

For realistic and effective ties, favor using a dubbing needle to work the material and make it even more lively. Adding a touch of wax can improve adherence to the thread and enhance buoyancy.
