The slot design works harmoniously with all hook types and simplifies alignment during tying to save valuable time. These beads are also a durable and eco-friendly choice, releasing no toxic substances into the aquatic environment.

4. Usage tips and recommended rigs
To get the most from your slot metal brown beads, mount them on straight or curved hooks with fine to medium shanks. The slot notch eases bead placement even with barbless models. Ideally, pair them with natural materials to tie patterns such as pheasant tail nymphs, perdigones or mayfly imitations. For fishing in strong currents, use a fine taper line and a reefed leader to benefit from the added weight and rapid sink. Choose an appropriate head, ensure the bead slides freely on the shank, then secure it firmly to prevent rotation during casts.
