Devaux Tungsten Nymph LTT 02-C

Product Benefits

The Devaux Tungsten LTT 2C Nymphs are designed to deliver fast sink rates, excellent stability and a natural presentation in all current conditions. Their careful design maximizes penetration into the water column while preserving a realistic silhouette that triggers takes from wary fish.

Technical Features

• Tungsten head for high density and rapid sinking
• Careful tying for a natural presentation on the drift
• High-quality hook with sharp point for effective penetration
• Durable finish designed to resist shocks and abrasion
• Profile engineered for optimal stability in current
• Designed for river and reservoir fishing

Advantages and Highlights

Thanks to their tungsten bead, these nymphs sink quickly to the target depth, reducing drag and improving hold in deep runs or strong seams. Their balanced profile promotes subtle animation and a free drift, essential to fool the most educated trout and grayling. The resilient finish ensures remarkable longevity, even with intensive use over rocky bottoms. Developed by Devaux, they combine effectiveness, restraint and consistent manufacturing for repeatable performance across outings.

Usage Tips

Use these nymphs on a natural drift targeting pool heads, active margins and seams. For indicator nymphing, favor balanced weighting and a progressive leader to maintain drift speed control. In euro-nymphing, accompany the drift without hindering the presentation. A subtle but immediate strike at the first stop or sign of take significantly increases hook-up rates. Vary micro-animation cadence to entice lethargic fish while preserving a natural trajectory.

FAQ

Are these nymphs suitable for strong currents?
Yes, the tungsten head provides the density needed to quickly reach the target water layer and maintain a stable trajectory.

Can they be used in reservoirs?
Yes, they remain effective for probing various depths, especially slow fishing near the bottom.

What type of leader do you recommend?
A progressive leader with a fine tippet and drift control lets you take full advantage of the stability and fast sink rate.
