Benefits and product highlights :
Using Devaux CDC Dubbing delivers an ultra-natural finish, essential to fool even the wariest fish. The purity of Devaux-selected CDC fibers offers a subtle sheen and outstanding buoyancy, perfect for highly effective emergers and nymph patterns. The mobility provided by this dubbing produces natural movement even in slow currents, convincingly imitating live prey. Its lightweight structure significantly eases the tying process while ensuring long-lasting hold thanks to the resilience of CDC fibers.

Usage tips and recommended patterns :
To get the most from Devaux CDC Dubbing, take a small amount of fibers and distribute them evenly on the dubbing thread. Choosing a fine thread or a specific tying wax will improve adhesion. This dubbing suits both heads and bodies of emergers or nymphs and works perfectly with straight or curved hooks. To preserve the fly’s buoyant structure, avoid compressing the fibers too much — their airy quality enhances the lightness and mobility of your imitation. Ideal for tying sedges, chironomids, or stillborns in critical river conditions. Pair it with fine shanks for a discreet presentation or accentuated thoraxes for fast water.

FAQ and additional information :
Q: Is CDC Dubbing suitable for beginners in fly tying?
A: Yes, it is easy to distribute on the thread and offers great handling, ideal for all skill levels.

Q: Do the fibers resist moisture and retain their buoyancy?
A: Thanks to the natural properties of CDC, the fibers dry quickly and maintain their buoyant power even after multiple casts.

Q: Can it be used for all types of flies?
A: This dubbing is particularly recommended for emergers and nymphs, but it also adapts very well to dry flies requiring realism and suppleness.

Thanks to its exceptional quality, Devaux CDC Dubbing establishes itself as the indispensable choice to succeed in all your artificial fly tiers projects.
