Major advantages of VARIODUB by Devaux
With this innovation, Devaux offers a premium product aimed at the most demanding enthusiasts. The texture of VARIODUB makes it easy to form regular bodies, slender or full abdomens as needed, with an intuitive handling from the first attempts. Its refined fiber adheres naturally to the tying thread, preventing clumping and material loss, which improves speed and neatness of work. The slightly iridescent sheen depending on the chosen color yields faithful imitations of natural insects, a decisive factor in triggering strikes during fine fishing sessions.

Furthermore, its water resistance and durability ensure each tied fly holds up better over time, even after multiple intensive uses. VARIODUB also stands out for its adaptability to various techniques and to all types of waters (rivers, lakes or reservoirs), making every tying session more creative and productive.

Usage tips and recommended ties
Using Devaux VARIODUB is accessible to everyone with a few precise gestures: simply take a thin tuft and twist it around the tying thread to work the fly body. For emergers, it is recommended to use heads aligned or offset to optimize flotation. For nymphs and wet flies, a dense tie using the full fiber length produces an attractive swim and effective weighting if needed. This material integrates perfectly with weighted heads, tungsten beads or brass beads to vary depth and action. Its malleability makes it compatible with all classic and modern ties, offering a natural finish even for less experienced hands.
