Advantages and key strengths
The primary advantage of the DUO Ryuki 110S SW LTD lies in its reliability on powerful fish. The reinforced hooks allow anglers to control strong bass or fast pelagics without worry while maintaining excellent penetration in the fish's mouth. This robustness is decisive for anglers who regularly fish coastal areas or places exposed to spray.
Another major strength is its saltwater and freshwater versatility. The same lure can be used in spring for river trout, then in summer for perch and asp, before returning to the tackle box for sea sessions targeting bass and coastal pelagics. This adaptability to different predators makes it a durable investment.
Its enticing action combined with a studied profile presents a credible prey to wary or heavily pressured fish. The Ryuki 110S SW LTD is a technical yet accessible lure that quickly builds angler confidence, whether fished with steady retrieve, pauses, or more aggressive animations.
Finally, it benefits from DUO's expertise in finish and balance. This know-how results in a bass and predator lure that maintains a neat presentation in varied conditions, allowing anglers to try multiple approaches without constantly switching models.
Usage tips
At sea, the DUO Ryuki 110S SW LTD performs best when prospecting bass holding areas: rock heads, breaks, beach edges or estuary mouths. Cast upstream or slightly angled to the current, then retrieve steadily with occasional pauses and short twitches to trigger strikes. When chasing bonito or frigate mackerel, a faster, continuous retrieve helps imitate fleeing baitfish.
In freshwater, use it to probe runs, holes and current seams where large trout hold, or along shorelines and bridge pilings where perch and asp hunt. Vary retrieval speed and animation amplitude to match fish mood. Use a leader appropriate to the target species and environment while ensuring the lure retains freedom of movement.
To get the most from this predator diving plug, experiment with different swimming depths and cadences while observing fish reactions and missed strikes. With minimal practice, the Ryuki 110S SW LTD quickly becomes a go-to confidence lure kept close at hand.
