FOX Frontier II Deluxe Extension

Product Benefits

Designed for demanding carp anglers, the FOX Frontier II Deluxe Extension transforms the front of your shelter into a true living space. It adds approximately 1.5 m of extra space, creating a practical front area for organizing gear, cooking under cover, or simply staying protected from the weather during your session.

Its key strength lies in its double-skin overwrap design, created to improve bivvy comfort: better insulation, more effective moisture management, and reduced condensation compared with a simpler setup. The result is a more pleasant shelter, especially on cool nights and during the rain/sun alternation often experienced lakeside.

Versatility is at the heart of this extension: the panels can be removed, replaced, and adapted to the way you fish. Depending on conditions, you can prioritize ventilation, insect protection, or a more enclosed setup. The result is a versatile fishing awning that follows your rhythm without complicating installation.

Product Advantages and Key Strengths

With this extension, you immediately improve the ergonomics of your camp: the extra space acts as a porch to keep sensitive items dry, store waders, organize buckets and accessories, or place a table without cluttering the sleeping area. The shaded front area also provides valuable comfort on sunny days, offering a ventilated spot to rest or watch your rods.

The panel modularity allows you to fine-tune the shelter. In damp conditions, you benefit from a more enclosed closure and increased protection. When the weather turns milder, the open layout and mosquito net promote airflow and comfort while helping limit insect entry. The front door options (clear PVC or solid) help you keep light inside without sacrificing protection, or close things up further if the wind picks up.

Finally, the quick setup is designed for fishing: fastening with Velcro straps and D-Loop points makes installation efficient while keeping the whole system tight and stable. You save time during setup and secure your configuration when conditions change.

Usage Tips

To get the best from your extension, install it on clear ground and take a few seconds to position the groundsheet properly to create a clean and practical area. Then adjust the strap tension to achieve a tightly stretched cover: this helps improve wind resistance and contributes to overall comfort.

Adapt the panel configuration to the situation: maximum openness and mosquito net when temperatures rise, or a more enclosed setup if rain arrives or the air turns cooler. At the end of your session, if possible, allow the shelter to air out for a few minutes before packing away, especially after a humid night, to help preserve the fabric and reduce odors.
