Product Highlights
The Fox Exocet Pro Low Vis fishing line is designed for anglers who want a discreet line with consistent performance, suitable for spooling onto a reel and building rigs. Its “Low Vis” positioning emphasizes low visibility in the water, a key advantage when a natural presentation matters and fishing pressure calls for a finer approach.
Designed as a fishing line spool focused on performance, this model aims to strike a useful balance between handling and control: a line that is easy to work with when tying rigs, lays neatly on the reel spool, and delivers solid feel whether you are casting, retrieving, or tightening up the line. The goal is simple: help you achieve a clean, consistent line setup tailored to your preferences, without unnecessary complexity.
Because line is at the heart of your tackle system, the Fox fishing line from the Exocet Pro range is aimed at anglers looking for a reliable solution to equip their reels long-term, prepare multiple rigs, and maintain a visually discreet line. The spool format makes equipment maintenance easier: you can replace your line when needed, or prepare several setups depending on your approach, while staying with a stable, proven reference.

Benefits and Key Features
The first benefit is discretion: a “Low Vis” line is valued for reducing the visual impact of the line and supporting a more natural presentation. This is especially useful in clear water, when fish are educated, or whenever you want to minimize visual cues that could spook them.
Next, a good line is one that handles well: spooled fishing line should allow tidy winding and maintain consistent behavior in use (tensioning, line control, casting performance). The Exocet Pro Low Vis range is designed to meet these practical expectations while staying easy to integrate into your rigging routine.
Finally, the value of a clearly identified model (brand + range) is continuity: once you find a line that matches your fishing style, you can keep reliable reference points and standardize your rigs. By choosing Fox Exocet fishing line, you rely on a clear reference to equip your reels, prepare your lines, and maintain overall consistency in your tackle setup.
Usage Tips
Spooling: fill the reel spool evenly and smoothly. Keep constant tension while winding to promote uniform layering. Clean spooling improves casting comfort and line management.
Choosing the variant: select the diameter and breaking strain according to your fishing method, rig setup, desired distance, and the demands of the venue. If in doubt, start with a versatile option and fine-tune after a few sessions.
Knots and rigging: always moisten before tightening, cinch gradually, and check the knot. Trim the excess neatly. Test the setup under tension before fishing.
Maintenance: regularly inspect the first few meters of line for abrasion, marks, or twists. Replace damaged sections, or renew the line when confidence starts to drop. Store the spool away from heat and direct sunlight.
FAQ
Question 1: Is this line suitable for all reels?
Answer: Yes, as long as the selected diameter is compatible with your spool capacity and intended use. Check your reel’s specifications and adjust the fill level accordingly.
Question 2: How do I choose the right diameter and breaking strain?
Answer: Choose based on your technique, the conditions of the venue, the distance you want to reach, and the level of security you are looking for. If in doubt, start with a versatile variant and refine your choice after a few outings.
Question 3: How can I reduce twist and line tangles?
Answer: Spool under tension, avoid overfilling the reel, and regularly check the condition of the line. Clean rigging and careful line management greatly reduce these issues.
Question 4: When should I replace my line?
Answer: As soon as you notice marks, wear on the first few meters, or a drop in confidence. Depending on how often you fish, regular checks and periodic replacement are recommended.
