FOX Frontier II Tent Extension - Deluxe Extension X

Product Highlights

The FOX Frontier II - X Deluxe Extension is a fishing tent extension designed to complement a shelter from the Frontier range and turn your setup into a more comfortable, more functional and better protected space. It is aimed at carp anglers and coarse anglers who want to optimize their fishing station without changing their main tent: the extension creates an additional area at the front, ideal for storing gear under cover, changing, preparing rigs or simply gaining more livable space during long sessions.

Designed as an add-on module, this bivvy extension integrates with the compatible shelter via a dedicated attachment system. The goal is simple: to provide a structured awning that reduces exposure to wind, showers and splashes, while helping you keep your swim clean and organized. It is especially suitable for carp fishing, where logistics such as buckets, bags, waders and bait can quickly take up space.

Benefits and Key Advantages

The main advantage of this Fox tent extension is that it makes your camp more versatile. By adding a covered area at the front, you effectively protect items that should not be left in the rain or mud: luggage, accessories, bait, footwear, landing net and the small items that are easy to misplace. This layout reduces clutter inside the main tent and leaves more room for sleeping.

In difficult conditions, the extension also acts as a buffer zone: you can put down wet gear, limit moisture inside and keep your sleeping area more comfortable. For long sessions, it is a real comfort upgrade, giving you a sheltered space to handle tackle, tie leaders or have a quick bite to eat out of the elements. The overall concept stays true to the range: a practical, fishing-focused solution that integrates easily into an existing setup.

Finally, the Deluxe design focuses on a more refined user experience: greater everyday comfort and more enveloping protection than a simple tarp, while still remaining a dedicated extension for your shelter. Because it is designed to work with a compatible tent, you benefit from a cleaner and more stable assembly than with an improvised universal solution.

Usage Tips

First pitch your main tent on as level a surface as possible, then position the extension in line with the entrance to achieve even tension. Use anchors suited to the ground conditions (soft ground, grass, gravel) and retension after a few minutes, especially if the fabric settles with moisture or temperature changes. To reduce wind resistance, face the opening away from the prevailing gusts and keep the fixing points under constant tension.

For better organization, reserve the extension for dirty or bulky items (buckets, bait bags, boots), and keep the inside of the tent for sleeping and electronics. After the session, allow everything to dry as much as possible before storage to extend the life of the materials.
