Devaux lead wire stands out for its high density, allowing you to quickly reach the ideal fishing depth without excessively weighing down the fly. Its extreme pliability facilitates integration into the body of the lure, promoting the creation of natural and discreet profiles. The consistent quality of the wire optimizes weight retention, preventing any slipping or deformation during fishing. It is an essential choice for authentic, durable and high-performing ties. In addition, it offers precious time savings during the tying stage thanks to its controlled suppleness and lack of shape memory.

Usage tips and recommended ties :
Devaux lead wire is suitable for both beginner and experienced tyers. To achieve a homogeneous internal weighting, simply wrap the wire around the hook shank before wrapping the base of your fly or nymph. Depending on the technique used, you can adjust the number of turns to fine-tune the sink rate. Ideal with flexible weighted heads or as a complement to classic external weighting, it adapts perfectly to Czech nymphs, perdigones, enticing streamers or wet flies. The effectiveness of fly fishing is enhanced by the remarkable balance provided by this wire.
