Its high transparency allows discreet or naturally iridescent finishes according to the tier’s wishes, while resisting water and wear. Usage tips and recommended patterns :
To fully exploit the potential of Devaux LUREFIL, incorporate it into your dry fly, nymph or emerger patterns. Easy to work with, it is suitable for imitating abdominal segments as well as creating transparent wings or separate bodies. Pair it with weighted heads or suitable rings to improve anchoring. Applying a special varnish or dubbing can be considered to perfect the final appearance. Use a hackle plier or bobbin holder for precise tying and avoid excessive tension to preserve the material’s flexibility. LUREFIL is compatible with a wide range of tying threads and fittings.
