MADNESS Bakuree Shad KB Soft Lure 110 - 11 cm

Product Highlights

Designed by MADNESS, the Bakuree Shad KB is a soft shad lure created for anglers seeking an effective swim in all conditions. Bulkier than the original Bakuree Shad, it generates significant water displacement, making it particularly visible and detectable by bottom-holding predators, even when they are less active.

Its ability to swim and vibrate properly at very low speed is one of its strengths. Where some lures require a fast retrieve to come alive, the Bakuree Shad KB maintains an attractive swim during slow retrieval, allowing you to focus on promising areas and entice wary or lethargic fish.

Thanks to its generous profile, this shad also offers a larger bite without sacrificing swim quality. This is a major advantage when fish select larger prey or when you want to sort catch sizes. This more massive shape remains very stable, both in straight retrieve and in vertical fishing.

Versatile, the Bakuree Shad KB excels for zander fishing, but it is also suitable for other predators that stay near the bottom. Its tight swim, combined with a strong tail beat and pronounced body rolling, makes it a deadly lure to quickly cover an area while preserving a high level of detail in the action.

Advantages and key strengths of the product

The primary advantage of the Bakuree Shad KB lies in its bulkier silhouette. This shape allows it to convincingly imitate a well-fed prey, highly sought after by predators in feeding mode. It also offers an excellent compromise between volume and water penetration, which enhances rod feel and swim readability.

Its second major asset is its ability to activate at minimal retrieval speeds. In slow straight retrieves, it requires very little pull to trigger a steady tail beat and body rolling, perfectly imitating a baitfish moving naturally. This trait is decisive for provoking bites from educated or sluggish fish.

In vertical fishing, the Bakuree Shad KB makes the difference when presenting a larger bite near the bottom. Its shape allows it to remain longer in the predators' holding zone while keeping a controlled action. Speed variations, pauses and small twitches are enough to make it come alive and attractive, without large movements.

Finally, its versatility makes it a go-to ally for all predator anglers, whether beginners or experienced. The same lure allows you to quickly cover a wide area in straight retrieves and then precisely target marked spots vertically, optimizing time on the water and significantly increasing success rates.

Usage Tips

To get the best from the Bakuree Shad KB, use it on rigs adapted to the targeted depths and current. In straight retrieve, a steady retrieve punctuated by short pauses or slight speed bursts helps vary the action and trigger reactive strikes.

In vertical fishing, let the lure drop close to the bottom, then animate it with small wrist twitches while keeping a controlled line. Pauses with the rod tip high under the boat are often decisive for zander and predators holding tight to the substrate. Do not hesitate to insist on breaks, rockheads, channel edges or any other marked spots.

Adapt retrieve speed to fish mood: the more wary they are, the more interesting it is to slow down to exploit the Bakuree Shad KB's ability to swim at very low speed. Conversely, when activity is marked, faster retrieves allow you to cover more ground and provoke aggressive strikes.

Also vary animations by combining straight retrieve and vertical fishing during the same session. For example, start by sweeping an area with casts and retrieves to locate active fish, then switch to vertical work on echoes or precise marks. This comprehensive approach fully leverages the versatility of the Bakuree Shad KB soft lure.
