Usage tips and recommended ties
To fully exploit the potential of Devaux Marabou, it is recommended to use light leaded heads or hooks specific to streamers to enhance the feather's mobility. Ideal in "tail" or "body" configurations for trout or pike streamers, Marabou also integrates well as a collar on a nymph imitating the swim of a fry. Work the feather by securing it at the base, spin it with a fine thread and avoid excess superglue so as not to alter its fibers. Suitable in rivers as well as lakes, the feather reveals its full effect with gentle animation or slow, twitching retrieves.
