Key Advantages of the Onimaru Lure
The
Onimaru stands out for its realism, proven effectiveness, and innovative approach inspired by extensive marine biology studies. Its ultra-realistic swim imitates the escape of a distressed small fish, rendering predators unable to resist the urge to attack. Its horizontal balance gives it remarkable versatility, allowing optimal use in fast prospecting, as well as slower retrievals, to entice the most cautious predators.
Additionally, with the clever integration of a rolling swivel on its hook, the
Onimaru notably reduces lure snags and capture losses due to line twists or pressure applied by the fish during the fight. The result? Better success when striking and more controlled battles.
Finally, its exemplary robustness and durability against repeated predator attacks make it an ideal long-term investment. Ease of use, guaranteed effectiveness, and impeccable reliability: this is what makes this lure a true reference.
Usage Tips and Recommended Setups
To fully exploit the
Onimaru's potential, it is recommended to pair this lure with a fast to semi-fast action rod, ideal for precisely transmitting the vibrations emitted by the blade. As for fishing technique, opt for a linear retrieval, occasionally varying the speed to accurately reproduce the chaotic behavior of an injured or fleeing small fish.
The ideal setup is to use the
Onimaru directly on your fluorocarbon leader; this offers discretion, abrasion resistance, and maintains a natural presentation. Adjust your speed and animations based on the predators' mood detected during the initial catches, to optimize results as the session progresses.
