NASH Floating Boilie Pop-Ups

Product benefits

The NASH Pop-Ups are floating boilies for carp specially designed to provide a perfect presentation of the bait above the bottom, even in the most challenging situations. Thanks to their exceptional buoyancy, these floating baits retain their position for many hours, allowing you to remain fishing without constantly checking the rig.

Developed by NASH, a recognised brand in the carp-fishing world, these pop-ups are made from recipes formulated with powerful attractors and highly soluble flavours. Their purpose is to rapidly release a strong food signal around the hook, while remaining dense enough to be easy to thread on a baiting needle and to cast long distances.

Versatile, they suit both beginner anglers and experienced carp fishermen looking for a reliable floating bait for their technical rigs. Used alongside classic groundbaiting or in a discreet approach, they can trigger takes even when fish are wary or inactive.

Technical specifications

• Very high buoyancy to keep the bait above the lakebed for long fishing sessions, even in the presence of silt or debris.
• Optimised formulation to quickly diffuse attractors in the water column and remain effective over time, typically for about 24 to 48 hours depending on conditions.
• Texture adapted for use with a baiting needle, reducing the risk of cracking or splitting when rigging or casting.
• Compatible with main modern carp rigs, in particular Ronnie Rigs, Chods and stiff rigs.
• Available in several flavour and colour variants to adapt the presentation to water type and fishing pressure, without changing the product’s basic characteristics.
• Designed for short or long sessions, from quick outings to extended campaigns requiring a rig to remain effective on the swim for many hours.

Advantages and key points

The main advantage of the NASH Pop-Ups for carp lies in their ability to remain perfectly presented for long periods. Where more conventional baits eventually sink into silt or become covered with debris, these floating boilies keep the hook exposed and visible, greatly increasing the chances of hooking a wary fish.

Their strong attractiveness quickly creates a zone of interest around your rig. By gradually releasing flavours and food signals, the pop-ups encourage carp to feed above the hook and more readily suck in the bait. This makes them an ideal choice to target educated fish, often used to standard baits, and to stand out on heavily fished waters.

These floating baits for Ronnie Rig and Chod setups also offer great presentation freedom. They can be used alone, balanced with a dense bait, or integrated into snowman-style rigs to achieve precisely adjusted buoyancy. This versatility covers most situations encountered on lakes, gravel pits or slow rivers.

Usage tips

To get the most from your NASH Pop-Ups, focus first on the presentation of the rig. On a Ronnie Rig or a Chod, make sure to set the length of the stiff section and the position of the lead so that the boilie sits just above the bottom, free to move naturally in the fish’s mouth.

Don’t hesitate to try several presentation heights depending on the substrate. On a silty area, a pop-up placed slightly higher can be enough to lift the hook out of the soft layer and make the rig far more effective. On a clean bottom, a more discreet presentation close to the bed often pays off.

You can further boost the attractiveness of these floating boilies by pairing them with a stick mix, a PVA bag or a few dense baits distributed around the rig. Vary the options available in the range to find the combination that produces the most takes on your water, while retaining the same quality of buoyancy and presentation.

FAQ

Question 1: How long does a NASH Pop-Up really remain buoyant?

Answer: The formulation is designed to maintain marked buoyancy for many hours. Under normal fishing conditions, the presentation remains effective for about 24 to 48 hours, without the bait collapsing onto the bottom.

Question 2: Are these floating boilies suitable for all types of rigs?

Answer: Yes, they are particularly well suited to Ronnie Rigs, Chod rigs and stiff rigs, but can also be used in combination with dense baits to precisely adjust buoyancy according to the situation encountered.

Question 3: Should Pop-Ups be used with a specific groundbait?

Answer: It is not mandatory, but it is often beneficial to use them alongside a discreet groundbaiting of boilies, particles or stick mix. Moderate groundbaiting helps concentrate fish in a small area, while the Pop-Up highlights your hook above the other baits.
