Product strengths
Designed for demanding carp anglers, the NASH Highline main braid is engineered for situations where casting distance and accuracy make the difference. Its 8‑strand round profile construction provides an exceptionally smooth surface that glides effortlessly through the guides and allows rigs to be cast very far while maintaining a stable trajectory. Whether fishing large lakes, reservoirs or big slow rivers, this braid delivers optimal control of the mainline and excellent handling during fights with powerful carp.
Its reduced diameter construction maximizes spool capacity while limiting windage and current drag. Floating, the NASH Highline rides above weedbeds and submerged obstacles, significantly improving long‑distance bite detection. The discreet low‑visibility green finish helps the mainline blend into the environment for a more natural presentation and a stealthier approach around wary fish.

Advantages and key benefits
The NASH Highline is for anglers who want to fully exploit the potential of their rods and reels. Thanks to its very even texture and small diameter, it enables longer and more precise casts than a conventional line of the same breaking strain. You can reach areas seldom fished, work around weedbanks or place rigs close to distant shelves and drop‑offs. The braid follows the curves of the line for smooth control during retrieves and presentations, even when rigs are placed far from the bank.
Its buoyancy and carefully chosen color are real assets in technical situations. By remaining slightly above obstacles, the NASH Highline carp braid transmits information more clearly—from lead contact with the bottom to the most subtle bites. Combined with an appropriate rig and a quality bite alarm, it provides a highly reliable long‑range fishing solution. Versatile, it suits both daytime and night sessions, whether fishing from a fixed peg or on mobile sessions.
Usage tips
To get the most from this carp main braid, spool it onto your reels with consistent tension to avoid loose coils and wind knots. Using appropriate backing allows you to fully fill the spool and take advantage of the braid’s small diameter. Choose the breaking strain according to the type of water, target fish size and level of obstacles: very clean waters allow thinner diameters, while snaggy venues call for stronger choices.
Regularly check the first meters of line, especially after a fight or abrasion against an obstacle, and cut away damaged sections when necessary. Depending on conditions and personal preference, the Highline can be used with or without a leader—ensure a clean, compact joining knot when fitting a leader. Simple maintenance, such as rinsing the mainline after dusty or debris‑filled sessions, will preserve the braid’s performance over time.
FAQ
Question 1: Is this braid only suitable for long distances, or can it also be used for close‑range fishing?
Answer: The NASH Highline was developed to excel at long‑range fishing, but its round profile, smooth glide and discreet appearance also make it an excellent main braid for close‑range fishing and technical approaches. It adapts to many carp fishing styles, from bank fishing to boat work, whenever you want a responsive, reliable and easy‑to‑control line.
