The REINS Flat Jerk soft jerkbait is a soft lure with a flattened baitfish profile, designed to imitate a disoriented or fleeing prey. Worked with sharp twitches, it produces irregular lateral darts that trigger strikes.
REINS Flat Jerk: flattened profile and irregular darts
Its flat profile promotes an off-axis swim during jerks and twitches. It can also be used with a steady retrieve by alternating pauses and accelerations, to vary the rhythm and simulate an injured baitfish.
Recommended rigs to adapt to depth
Depending on the rig, you can easily adjust the water layer you target:
Weightless: slow action in shallow water.
Texas rig: for fishing heavy cover and snaggy areas.
Jig head: to reach deeper water layers.
