The Britt 170 has become one of the
essential lures in sea sport fishing due to several exceptional strengths. First of all, its astonishing realism quickly attracts the attention of wary predators, significantly increasing your success rate. Its exclusive lateral balance system provides an extremely attractive oscillating movement, triggering rapid reflex strikes even from the most cautious fish.
The Britt 170's exceptional quality ensures a long lifespan and increased resistance against large trophy fish, assuring unfailing reliability. In addition, the lure allows for remarkable long-distance navigation thanks to its optimized aerodynamic shape, facilitating quick prospecting over large areas. The Britt 170 perfectly adapts to varied conditions, whether in open sea, around reefs, or in tight hunting areas.
Use Tips and Recommended Rigging
To fully exploit the attractive capabilities of the Britt 170, favor robust gear coupled with a strong braid to handle the powerful targeted predators. The use of resistant fluorocarbon leaders is also recommended to ensure optimal discretion with wary predators.
Regarding animation, the "walking the dog" technique is particularly advised to maximize the characteristic side-to-side effect of the Britt 170. Make regular light pulls with your rod while slowly reeling in to produce an irresistible swim. You can also make short pauses to trigger explosive predator strikes. Finally, choose a robust jig head and hook specifically designed for this type of surface lure to ensure effective and lasting hookset even during powerful strikes.
