Product advantages
The DUO Bayruf BR Fish is a finesse soft lure specially developed to reproduce with maximum realism the behaviour of a small panicked baitfish. Its slender silhouette and soft material give it exceptional mobility, even at low retrieval speeds. At the slightest input, the body undulates and goes off-axis, creating strong visual and vibratory signals that trigger strikes from the wariest predators.
Designed for fast prospecting, this lure allows you to cover large areas efficiently in minimal time. Its pronounced lateral kicks mimic a fleeing prey and instantly awaken the hunting instinct of predatory fish, both in saltwater and freshwater. Its finesse profile reduces lift and favors precise contact with fish-holding zones, whether near the bottom or in the water column.
The Bayruf BR Fish also stands out for its ease of animation. It responds immediately to quick jerks, sawtooth animations or steady retrieves, making it accessible to both beginner and experienced anglers. Paired with a suitable jig head, it becomes a formidable tool for targeting sea bass, pollock, perch, zander and other predators.

Benefits and key strengths
The primary asset of the DUO Bayruf BR Fish lies in its versatility. Its design allows for multiple riggings and animations, making it a versatile soft lure capable of adapting to a wide variety of spots and conditions. Whether you fish from the shore, by boat, on wrecks, rocky headlands or calmer areas, it easily finds its place in your strategy.
The option to mount the lure with the flat side up or down offers a real technical advantage. With the flat side up, it excels in linear retrieves or dragging, following bottom relief and staying close to fish-holding zones. With the flat side down, it becomes deadly for mid-column fishing, offering a more gliding swim and very marked directional changes at the slightest rod tip movement.
Its particularly erratic action during short sharp twitches imitates a panicked, injured or stunned prey, which prompts predators to strike reflexively, even when they are less active. This ability to trigger reluctant fish makes the Bayruf BR Fish a choice ally for challenging sessions, in competition as well as leisure fishing.
Finally, the build quality typical of the DUO brand ensures a reliable, durable and well-finished lure. Consistent swim performance and repeatable behavior from one specimen to another reassure the angler and make it easier to reproduce the most effective animations throughout outings.
Usage tips
To get the most out of the DUO Bayruf BR Fish finesse soft lure, we recommend pairing it with a jig head appropriate for depth and current, such as the Bayruf BR Head. Choose a weight that keeps contact with the bottom or with the targeted water layer without hindering the lure’s swim.
For linear fishing, cast out, let the lure sink to the desired depth then retrieve at a steady pace, punctuating the retrieve with small sharp twitches. These impulses will provoke a more erratic swim, with lateral kicks that simulate a panicked small fish. When dragging along the bottom, let the lure touch down, then animate it with short pulls followed by free-fall phases, remaining attentive to often very discreet takes during slack periods.
For mid-column fishing, particularly effective on fish in open water, rig the lure to maximize its lift. Perform a series of decisive pulls by lifting the rod tip, then accompany the fall while keeping the line slightly taut. Attacks often occur during these controlled fall phases.
Don’t hesitate to vary cadence, twitch intensity and retrieval speed to find the combination that triggers fish on the day. The Bayruf BR Fish handles these animation variations very well and remains consistently attractive.
