Product highlights
The
DUO Realis Wriggle Stick is a
dense soft worm lure specially developed to trigger predator strikes during the most critical phases of presentation: pauses and the fall. Its slightly flattened body creates strong water resistance, generating irregular micro-vibrations that are highly attractive. This unpredictable action perfectly imitates a struggling bait, an ideal target for opportunistic predators.
Thanks to its
high density, the Realis Wriggle Stick casts long distances, even when rigged simply on a
Texas hook without additional weight. This allows quick prospecting of large areas, from shore or boat, while keeping a discreet and effective rig.
This dense worm is also designed for
cover and structure fishing: its shape, material and density offer an excellent balance between compactness, penetration into cluttered spots and natural swimming. It stands out as a top choice to flush out predators situated in flooded timber, vegetation, docks, pilings or other complex structures.
Technical features
Designed by DUO, the
Realis Wriggle Stick benefits from meticulous shaping and profiling. Its body has a slightly flattened cross-section that enhances vibrations during the fall and at the slightest rod movement. On each line release, the lure undulates and subtly off-axes, reproducing a very realistic erratic behaviour.
The
engineered density of the material allows the lure to reach the holding depths of fish quickly, while remaining compact enough to be cast far, even with minimalist rigging. This density also improves sensitivity: the angler better feels the bottom, light bites and obstacles, facilitating precise hooksets.
The Realis Wriggle Stick is particularly at ease with discreet and technical rigs: mounted on a Texas hook, it passes more easily through cluttered areas. Its design makes it a
versatile lure for predator fishing in varied environments, from shallow sectors to deeper zones where predators hold near the bottom.
Advantages and strong points
The DUO Realis Wriggle Stick stands out with several major advantages for the demanding angler:
- Vibrations and irregular action: the combination of a flattened body and high density generates an unpredictable fall action, ideal for triggering reflex strikes.
- Long-distance casts: even armed with a simple Texas hook, this dense worm catapults easily, allowing coverage of lots of water and reaching distant spots.
- Effective in cover: its shape and preferred rigging make it perfectly suited to fish obstacles, vegetation and structures without excessive snagging.
- Natural and discreet presentations: the main action occurs on the fall and during pauses, offering a very realistic bait to educated or wary fish.
- Versatility of use: suitable for various slow or semi-active fishing styles, the Realis Wriggle Stick integrates easily into a lure selection to cover different situations.
Usage tips
To get the most out of the
DUO Realis Wriggle Stick, favor animations focused on the fall and pauses. One key is to let the lure work on its own: a simple cast near cover followed by a controlled fall is often enough to trigger a hesitant predator.
Rig it on a
Texas hook to optimize its ability to pass through cover: submerged timber, weedbeds, posts, rock piles, etc. Alternate between minimalist presentations (cast/let sink, small twitches, extended pauses) and more rhythmic retrieves to identify what provokes the most bites depending on conditions.
Insist on marked areas: breaks, vegetation edges, piling clusters, shaded spots or any structure change can hide ambushing predators. The
high density of the Realis Wriggle Stick also helps control the line more effectively in wind or current, greatly improving bite detection.
FAQ
Question 1 : On which types of spots is the DUO Realis Wriggle Stick most effective?
Answer: The Realis Wriggle Stick excels on cluttered zones and marked structures: vegetation, flooded timber, docks, pilings and other obstacles. Its ability to fish cover with a discreet rig makes it a go-to ally to flush out hidden predators.
Question 2 : What type of presentation should be favored with this dense worm?
Answer: This lure performs particularly well with slow presentations focused on a controlled fall and pauses. Let it sink freely near key spots, then add small twitches or light lifts to renew fish interest.
