Product Highlights
The Wolfcreek Shad Perch & Bass is the compact version of one of the brand’s signature shads, designed for finesse fishing and situations where a more discreet profile makes the difference. At 11 cm, this soft shad lure aims for a fluid, natural, and stable swim, capable of triggering strikes from predatory fish both when searching water and when presenting the lure more slowly. Its design keeps the spirit of the original handmade model and adapts it to series production with a refined finish, delivering a believable look underwater.
This shad stands out thanks to a technical material: a perfectly soft and stretchy plastisol, advertised as phthalate-free. This formulation is designed to promote a consistent swimming action while improving durability against teeth, short strikes, and repeated hooksets. The fish-style 3D eyes enhance attractiveness, especially when the lure is worked slowly or held in the strike zone.

Product Benefits and Key Features
Designed to cover a wide range of uses, the Wolfcreek shad adapts to fishing for perch, largemouth bass, zander, walleye, and predatory species more broadly. Its 11 cm size sits at the crossroads of two essential needs: it remains visible enough to be noticed while still being compact enough to tempt wary fish or fish focused on medium-sized prey.
The flexibility of the plastisol makes it easy to get working: at slow speeds, the tail kicks and delivers a steady vibration; on a faster retrieve, the lure keeps a coherent track for covering water quickly. Improved tear resistance is a real advantage on the bank: fewer damaged lures, more time fishing, and a clean presentation cast after cast.
Finally, realistic elements such as the 3D eyes and the overall finish add that extra touch of realism that is useful in clear water, under heavy fishing pressure, or when predators follow but hesitate. The pack of 4 is practical for keeping ready-to-use lures on hand and continuing sessions without interruption.
Tips for Use
To get the most out of this soft lure for predatory fish, use rigs that let the shad swim freely. On a jig head, adjust the weight to the depth and current: lighter for a slow, gliding swim, heavier to maintain bottom contact and fish vertically. On a steady retrieve, vary your speed and add micro-pauses to trigger strikes on the pause. Near the bottom, a short lift-and-drop action imitates fleeing prey and showcases the body’s flexibility.
In snaggy areas, a Texas rig can help it pass through cover, while in vertical or pelagic fishing, precise control in the target water layer allows you to focus on zander and perch holding deeper. Make sure the lure is rigged straight on the hook: a shad that is perfectly aligned swims better and comes off less often.
