Product highlights
The DUO RYUKI SPINNER establishes itself as a versatile spinning spoon for river fishing. Built around a dense body inspired by the renowned Spearhead Ryuki range, it delivers a particularly stable action even when the current strengthens or retrieval speed increases. This control of trajectory makes it a go-to lure for methodically sweeping every water seam, from calm edges to more powerful zones.
Its main asset lies in its ability to keep spinning without faltering, where other spoons lose effectiveness or start to wobble. This consistent performance lets you focus on reading the river and locating fish, without constantly correcting retrieval speed or angle.
Thanks to its optimized density, the RYUKI SPINNER casts far and accurately. It allows reaching spots difficult to access from the bank or covering large stretches quickly. Whether you fish small streams, medium rivers or fast-flowing sections, this spinning lure performs reliably and maintains exemplary line control.
Suitable for both novice and experienced anglers, this spoon has been designed to be easy to use: one cast, a steady retrieve and it immediately starts working. It integrates perfectly into a fast-prospecting approach, complementing other lures to trigger active fish throughout the season.
Technical specifications

- Robust construction designed to withstand the stresses of river fishing and repeated impacts against the current.
- Lure available in multiple variations to adjust profile and presentation to current conditions.
Benefits and strengths
The DUO RYUKI SPINNER stands out for its rare balance between ease of use and technical performance. Its ability to perform well in very varied currents allows it to be used across many stretches without constantly changing lures. You save time at the water while maintaining a consistent and attractive presentation.
Another major advantage is its animation versatility. A linear retrieve is enough to immediately activate the blade, but you can also introduce slight speed variations, pauses or angle changes to trigger the most wary fish. The dense body helps the lure stay in the desired water layer to pass close to key holding spots.
In heavily fished areas, the RYUKI SPINNER offers a different signature while keeping the simplicity of a classic spinning spoon. Its compact profile limits drift and provides precise trajectory control, making it easier to pass near obstacles, through strong seams or along carved banks.
For traveling anglers who like to cover ground, this lure becomes a true ally: it mounts easily at the leader tip, casts far, works immediately and supports a sustained prospecting rhythm. You thus have a reliable lure to quickly explore a river and identify the most productive sectors.
Usage tips
To get the best from the DUO RYUKI SPINNER, start with a steady retrieve, holding the rod slightly lowered toward the surface. This simple action allows the blade to start rotating immediately and maintain stable behavior, whether the current is slow or marked.
In weak currents, don't hesitate to vary retrieval speed to add life to the lure: a few short accelerations followed by slower phases can trigger strikes. In strong current, exploit the body's density by presenting the spoon three-quarters upstream or three-quarters downstream so it crosses seams at a natural angle.
On marked spots (heads of current, pit entrances and exits, carved edges, submerged obstacles), multiply fan casts to progressively cover the entire area. Let the lure sink slightly in the water column before starting the retrieve to pass as close as possible to holding fish.
The RYUKI SPINNER earns its place in every angler's box who wants a robust and effective river lure. Alternate it with other lure families (crankbaits, softbaits, vibrating spoons) to constantly adapt your approach to fish activity and current conditions.
FAQ
Question 1: Is this spinning spoon suitable for rivers with strong current?
Answer: Yes, the DUO RYUKI SPINNER was designed to remain stable and not falter during retrieval, making it particularly effective in both fast-flowing rivers and slower current areas.
