Product Highlights
The
DUO Realis Jerkbait 85SP is a
suspending jerkbait specifically developed for fishing situations where the lure action must be sharp and irregular. Designed for demanding anglers, it excels when a simple retrieve is no longer enough to convince educated fish. Thanks to its balanced design, it withstands aggressive
jerks,
twitches, marked
pauses and
quick accelerations without falling off, exactly the kind of actions that trigger the most violent strikes.
This jerkbait from the
DUO Realis range is designed to deliver a precise, controlled presentation. Its responsive action allows instant rhythm changes, shifting from a very aggressive sequence to an almost motionless pause to give hesitant predators time to attack. This versatility in presentation makes it a
hard lure for predators particularly suited to waters where fish have seen many lures.
One major advantage of the Realis Jerkbait 85SP is its ability to remain stable even when heavily stressed by sharp, repeated rod movements. This control over the action lets the angler focus on reading the spot and the fish’s behavior rather than managing the lure. Whether fishing canals, lakes or rivers, it quickly becomes a staple in a jerkbait-focused tackle box for
predator fishing with jerkbaits.

Benefits and Key Features
The Realis Jerkbait 85SP stands out for its ability to respond to varied animations without losing effectiveness. By working the lure with more or less pronounced rod strikes, it can produce lateral darts, unpredictable bursts and sudden stops that perfectly mimic an injured or panicked prey. This ability to break the monotony of the retrieve is a major asset when fish are wary or inactive.
Another strength: its versatility. This
suspending jerkbait suits both dynamic searches for active fish and a slower, methodical approach when required. It becomes an excellent prospecting tool, capable of covering a large part of the fishing zone while maintaining precise control of the action. In a broader strategy, the
DUO Realis Jerkbait 85SP complements other lure types such as crankbaits or softbaits by offering a different vibrational and visual signature.
Usage Tips
To get the most from the Realis Jerkbait 85SP, vary your actions during a single cast. Alternate a few turns of the reel with one or two sharp
jerks, then mark a short pause before resuming the retrieve. These rhythm changes often trigger a following predator to strike.
For very wary fish, opt for a minimalist presentation: light
twitches with longer pauses can make the difference. Conversely, in overcast conditions or when fish are particularly active, apply
quick accelerations and sequences of close jerks to provoke reflex strikes. Always adapt retrieve speed, pause length and rod strike intensity to water temperature, season and observed activity on the spot.
