The Asturie stands out with its surprising realism and smooth movements on the surface. Its swimming is both natural and unpredictable, provoking reflex strikes from the wariest predators. With exceptional aerodynamics, this lure easily covers impressive distances, allowing anglers to reach previously inaccessible areas or approach the most cautious fish more discreetly.
Its intuitive use is accessible to all, providing comfort and enjoyment with every fishing trip. Ideal for intensive prospecting fishing, this versatile lure ensures quick and effective coverage of a large water area.
Usage Tips and Recommended Setups
To fully benefit from the Asturie lure, opt for a simple setup by attaching the lure directly to a suitable fluorocarbon leader. This discreet setup ensures natural swimming and maximizes the lure's appeal to predators.
Prefer a "walking the dog" retrieval, which involves imparting short and regular movements to your surface lure with the rod tip, allowing it to perform a zigzag swimming action very effective on predators. Fast and brisk retrieves are also possible, creating a panic effect that often triggers lightning strikes on the surface.
As for the rod to use, prefer a fast or semi-fast tip action for optimal reactivity and ensure precise control in the lure's animation.
