Benefits and Strengths of the Asturie Lure
The main advantage of this Asturie lure is its extraordinary casting distance. Thanks to its carefully designed and tested shape, this lure allows effective prospecting of a large body of water, even from a fixed point. Ideal for shore fishing or quickly covering large water areas from a boat.
Its unique swim is a standout feature appreciated by sport fishermen. From difficult bass to predators like pike or black bass, the lure easily triggers attacks from predatory fish. Its reactivity even at very high speed is a key asset for quickly covering a promising spot and triggering reflex attacks from active fish.
The sturdiness and quality manufacturing of the Asturie make it particularly appreciated by regular fishermen. Its robust design allows intensive and durable use, even against violent attacks from large predatory fish.
Usage Tips and Recommended Rigs
To fully exploit the potential of the Asturie lure, it is recommended to use a rod suitable for surface lure fishing, with a soft to semi-rigid action to ensure excellent casting impulse and perfect control for quick animations. A thin but robust braid, combined with an invisible fluorocarbon leader, is an excellent choice to enhance the realism and discretion of your setup.
The Asturie is ideally animated by fast retrieval punctuated with short pauses, massively inciting reflex attacks from predators. For fishing situations where fish are cautious, a classic walking-the-dog retrieval, accompanied by accelerations and slowdowns, is very effective for triggering attacks.
