The Devaux Super Tippet Tiger Nylon stands out with numerous major advantages for modern fly fishing. Its Japanese manufacturing quality ensures exceptional performance on all rivers. Its superior knot strength is an essential asset during fights with cautious fish, while its extreme precision guarantees a natural and sensitive presentation of your fly. The suppleness and elasticity reduce the risk of breakage during hooksets or sudden runs, providing extra security when landing fish. Its total absence of memory helps avoid tangles and maximizes stealth—key criteria to outwit educated and wary fish. This nylon adapts as well to modern techniques as to traditional approaches.
The versatility of the Super Tippet Tiger nylon allows effective rigs adapted to multiple techniques. For light finesse fishing in rivers or still waters, opt for a light weighted head or a micro-nymph to showcase its suppleness and zero‑memory effect. A dry fly presentation will also be enhanced by using this nylon as the tip of the leader, its discretion aiding in deceiving the most educated salmonids, even in clear water. Remember to moisten your knots to fully benefit from its exceptional abrasion and tensile resistance. For sight nymphing or Czech-style nymphing, it is the preferred choice of anglers seeking to combine finesse and safety.
