Benefits and key strengths :

The Devaux Nylon Fluorocarbon Tiger stands out for its extreme stealth thanks to a refractive index close to that of water, making the line virtually invisible to fish. Its abrasion resistance is particularly effective against rocks, obstacles and vegetation, ensuring reliable and secure use. It retains its mechanical qualities even after prolonged exposure to UV rays and heavy stress. With balanced suppleness, it allows the formation of strong, easy-to-tighten knots. This innovative product supports you in all situations, from tying delicate tippet setups to the most powerful fishing techniques.

Usage tips and recommended rigs :

Devaux Tiger fluorocarbon is ideal for tying tippets and tips for nymphing, wet flies or streamers where discretion is essential. Use weighted heads or weighted flies according to your technique and fishing depth. For tippet rigs, favor reliable knots such as the Albright knot, surgeon’s knot or Palomar knot to ensure perfect holding even during hard fights. Remember to wet the line before tightening knots to optimize strength and choose the appropriate diameter for the type of fishing.
